Birthday Card

So, this is my first sorta scene card.  I love the cards created by Stephanie at LovetoCreateCards and promised myself I was going to try a scene card.  Here's my take on one of the cards I won in her giveaway.  I used glossy accents on the dress and boots to give them a patent leather look.  Most of the cards I make for people are personalized and theme based, hence the #13 on the car and NY vibe card.  I'm always looking for new and creative ways to include names, ages and themes to cards, so if you know of any, please feel free to share.

Have a blessed day!

First Things First - Thank you Becky

I want to send a big THANK YOU to Becky at A Diamond in the Rough for her encouraging comments.  Her work is beautiful, inspirational and soothing to my soul, so if you've made it this far, please check her out.  A little comment goes a long way especially for us newbies who are so inspired by all of the amazing talent we see in cyber space.  I have been working around the clock on three big back to back projects and I haven't had a chance to play around with some of my own ideas but her comment gave me just the little fuel I needed to keep plugging along with grumbling.  I pray I get an opportunity to pay it forward.

I got a new fangled phone for mother's day and couldn't wait to try uploading from it. Hopefully I'll be able to post more often. I made this caed for a friend who won an award as deal maker of the year. No cricut here. The paper is from the DCWV Mariposa stack. Hope this comes out ok. TFL
