Sweet Tea Card

This Sweet Tea card was inspired by my daughter's love of sweet tea and the January Sketch Challenge at Mema's Crafts and the Show Me Something Sweet Color Challenge at Card-d-ology.  This is my first time entering a challenge, so I am very excited.  I have been trying to find ways to push me to create more often and this was a great boost.

Another Purse Card

I made this card for my sister to give to a very close friend and I love it! She didn't want it to have the obvious Happy Birthday on the front so I cut out "happpy bday" with the Cuttlebug Birthday Wishes die and used it as part of the charms on the hang tag. I also used a book closure as the hardware and replaced the screws with brads. The paper line is Anna Griffith Peyton Place. Her friend loves purses with a lot of hardware so that was the inspiration for the card. I used my Gypsy to weld her initials from the Winter Woodland cartridge to a frame from the Elegant Edges cartridge to resemble a nameplate necklace and she put that on the envelope. My sister put a lot of love into this design. I hope her friend loves it
