I've had the Cuttlebug Build-A-Flower die for a long time. I picked up a pretty big haul of dies about a year ago when Big Lots had the folders and dies on sale. I had been wanting to try this for a while and finally got a chance when my mom asked me to make a card for my Godmother's birthday. I was going for a "clean lines" card with a simple flower in the middle but the original design looked more like a starfish with a huge rhinestone in the midde. LOL. So I reworked it using some Bazzill wings, Recollection flowers and Prima petals. It's a lot busier than I was going for but when I heard that my Godmother loved the card so much, that she pulled out her card from last year to display with this one, I liked it a lot more since the whole point was to make something she would enjoy. Her card from last year was probably one of the first cards I ever made.
