Tim Holtz Vintage card
I made this card for a scrappy teacher-turned-friend who not only shares my love for cards but also the same birthday as me. She is a totally vintage girl, so I made this "Jeannette" style. It was so hard not to reach for bling or glitter but I love the way it turned out. I used the Tattered Florals die for the flowers, distriss inks, glimmer mist, masks, and UTEE on the crown. The challenge was to use techniques and products I don't normally use. The back of this card was a hot inky mess by the time I finished but I think she can appreciate the effort. Lol.
I love my card. I am so proud of you for going outside your comfort zone. You did an awesome job and love all the different techniques you used. love it, love it, love it. I'm glad I share my birthday with you. Luv yea, Jeanette
ReplyDeleteTia, I think you did a great job on your stepping outside your box. Continue to spread your crafting wings.
